Rugs

The right rug is essential for your horse's well-being. At Ruitersport Maddelin, you'll find an extensive collection of horse rugs that perfectly combine protection, breathability, and freedom of movement. Whether you're looking for a warm stable rug , a waterproof rain rug , or a lightweight sweat or fly rug , each model is carefully selected for quality, fit, and durability .

The right blanket for every season

Our collection is built around the needs of every type of horse and every climate:

Rain rugs: waterproof, breathable and durable, ideal for pasture use.
Stable blankets: warm and comfortable, with a soft inner lining for everyday indoor use.
Underblankets: suitable as an extra layer for cold periods or under rain blankets.
Sweat blankets: moisture-absorbing and quick-drying to prevent overheating after riding.
Fly rugs: insect protection, lightweight and breathable for summer days.

This way you can rely on optimal protection every season, without sacrificing comfort or freedom of movement.

Fit and choice of materials

A well-fitting rug prevents chafing and pressure on the withers or shoulders. That's why we select only rugs with anatomical cuts, adjustable closures, and strong linings , ensuring they perfectly match your horse's body shape. From lightweight summer styles to extra-padded winter models , every detail is designed to allow the horse to move naturally.

Durable quality for intensive use

In the stables, at a competition or in the pasture – horse blankets have to endure a lot.
That's why at Maddelin we work with premium brands known for their durable fabrics, strong stitching, and breathable linings . Our blankets are built to withstand rain, wind, mud, and everyday wear, so you can rely on them season after season.

Accessories and maintenance

In this collection you will also find all the necessary blanket accessories and maintenance products :

Straps, girths and closures
Blanket hooks and storage systems
Detergents and impregnating agents for waterproofness and freshness

This way, your blanket will not only remain beautiful, but also functional and comfortable.

Personal advice for size and use

Not every horse has the same body shape or coat structure.
Our team is happy to help you choose the right size, padding, and blanket combination for your horse. At Maddelin Equestrian, you won't find standard advice, but personalized guidance based on real stable experience.
