Size guide

A correct size is essential for both comfort and performance in equestrian sports. At Maddelin Equestrian, we are happy to help you choose the right size so that your equipment fits perfectly—whether it's riding apparel, helmets, boots, or accessories.
A well-fitting outfit not only ensures greater comfort but also better performance in the saddle. Clothing that is too tight or too loose can restrict your freedom of movement and affect your aids. Therefore, we recommend always measuring accurately and using our size charts as a guide.
Our size charts are organized by product category and brand, allowing you to choose as precisely as possible. Because fits can vary by brand, you will find specific information with each product to guide you.
How to measure correctly?
For the best results, always measure with a flexible tape measure, close to the body but without tightening.
-
Chest circumference: measure around the widest part of the chest
-
Waist: measure around the narrowest part of your waist
-
Hips: measure around the widest part of the hips
-
Inseam length: measure from groin to ankle
-
Head circumference (helmets): measure just above the eyebrows and ears
-
Calf circumference & height (boots/chaps): measure the widest part of the calf and the height from heel to hollow of the knee
If you are in doubt between two sizes? We usually advise choosing the larger size for extra comfort, unless otherwise stated with the product.
At Maddelin, we believe that the right fit makes all the difference between just riding and truly riding well. Use our size charts as a guide and confidently choose the size that suits you and your horse.
During warm days, you want to optimally protect your horse from flies and insects, without compromising on comfort. The LeMieux Arika Armour-Tek fly rug in the stylish Macaron color offers exactly that: a well-thought-out combination of technical protection and luxurious finish. This fly rug is designed for horses that are sensitive to insects or quickly become irritated during the grazing season.
Thanks to the innovative Armour-Tek mesh material, your horse enjoys maximum ventilation while even the smallest insects are kept out. The fabric is light, breathable, yet sturdy enough to withstand daily use. Ideal for both pasture and stable. The anatomical fit ensures that the rug stays in place, even during movement, minimizing rubbing.
What truly distinguishes this rug is the attention to detail: from the soft lining at the wither to the strategically placed fastenings that avoid pressure points. This makes it particularly suitable for sensitive horses or sport horses that need to perform at their best without distraction.
Maddelin tip:
Combine this fly rug with a matching fly mask for complete protection during intensive summer days.
