Measuring. Measure your head circumference with a tape measure, about a finger's width above your eyebrows and around the widest point at the back of your head. Measure with the hairstyle you also wear under the helmet, because a tight braid or a hairnet gives a different circumference than loose hair. This version is available in size M (55-58 cm).

Trying on. A helmet should close evenly around your head and must not press in one spot. With the chin strap open, bend your head forward: if the helmet stays put, the size is right. If it slides forward, it is too roomy.

Care. Take the inner lining out regularly and wash it at 30 degrees. Clean the outside with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid solvents and abrasives on the crystal finish, and do not rub hard over the frontal band.

Storage and transport. Keep the helmet in a helmet cover or helmet bag, on the road as well. With an inlaid crystal finish, that is the single most important piece of care advice there is: rubbing against other gear in a car boot does more damage than use.

Choose this version when you want a pronounced crystal finish that still stays entirely within black, and when your helmet has to come along both at competition and in training. It suits dressage, jumping and eventing.
