Care. Take the liner out and wash it according to the care label, that keeps the inside fresh. Wipe the glossy outer shell with a soft, slightly damp cloth and use no solvents or abrasive products. Let the helmet dry at room temperature, away from a heat source. Store it in a helmet bag.

Checking and replacing. If you have had a fall in which your head was hit, do not use the helmet again until it has been checked. EPS is designed to take up energy by giving way, and that deformation is rarely visible from the outside. Have the helmet checked or replace it. Even without a fall, it pays to look the helmet over now and then for cracks, loose parts and a worn liner.

The Miss Glossy 2.0 is a good basic choice for women riders looking for a competition-ready helmet without a custom finish. It fits in the dressage arena, on a jumping course and in daily training. Black is the most neutral choice, navy works nicely with a navy competition jacket or stable colours.

If you would rather have a matt shell than a glossy one, look at a Shadowmatt version from our Samshield range. If you are after a helmet with crystals, a coloured trim or a blazon in chrome or Pink Gold, a custom version makes more sense. Those are, however, usually available in only a single size. If you have a less common head circumference, this model is all the more interesting, because it runs from S to XL.

Can I wash the inner liner separately?
Yes, the liner is removable and washable. Follow the care label and let it dry fully before you put it back.
