Sharpening – Extra Cost per Blade (dirty, rusty or incorrectly sharpened)

Sometimes knives come in that require extra care and work before they can be properly sharpened again. This surcharge covers additional work for knives that:

•  Heavily soiled (grease, hair residue, dirt accumulation)

•  Show rust formation that needs to be removed first

•  Sharpened incorrectly and need to be corrected first

Why this surcharge?

Correctly restoring such knives requires extra time, materials and care to ensure optimal sharpening results again – without damage to the cutting edge or the blade structure.

Details:

• Application : Per blade requiring additional treatment

• Service : Only in combination with regular sharpening service

• Inspection : Upon receipt, each knife is assessed and only if necessary will this surcharge be charged.
