Between two sizes? We usually recommend the larger size, unless stated otherwise on the product. In our experience, Italian brands (such as Animo, Cavalleria Toscana and Vestrum) tend to come up small.
Rugs
How to measure your horse: using a soft tape measure, measure from the centre of the chest, over the point of the shoulder, horizontally along the body to the furthest point of the hindquarters. This is the total length.
Always check the brand's size chart. A rug size in cm (for example 125 or 145) is the back length for most brands, and how it converts to feet differs per brand. Some brands, such as Bucas, also measure differently. That's why every rug comes with the brand's own size information.
The table below converts the total length from feet to cm. This conversion is the same for every brand.

Product Information
The LeMieux Avery Teddy Quarter Zip Fleece is a warm sherpa fleece for women, designed for comfortable moments at the yard and away from it. The soft teddy look is paired with a practical quarter zip, which makes this fleece a comfortable mid layer or outer layer on cooler days.
About this fleece
The Avery has a slightly boxy shape. That gives the fleece a relaxed silhouette and leaves plenty of room to move for the daily jobs around the horses. The ribbed trims at the cuffs and hem give a smart finish and suit the casual character of the model.
At the top, the fleece is finished with a quarter zip, in other words a short zip fastening. You can close the neck further when you want extra warmth, or open it a little when that is more comfortable. It makes the Avery practical across the changing moments of the day, whether that is jobs at the yard, before and after riding, or relaxed time off.
Storage has been thought about too. The side-entry pockets give room for the small things you like to keep to hand. LeMieux names them as suitable for personal items or horse treats, among other things.
This black version is easy to combine with different breeches, leggings and other yard and leisure clothing. The fleece is available in EU sizes 34 to 46. LeMieux describes the fit as slightly boxy; if you specifically want a close-fitting, shaped fleece, a slimmer model is the better choice.
For care, LeMieux advises washing at 30 °C with non-bio detergent only. The fleece must not be tumble dried or dry cleaned. Do not iron over the parts carrying the logo either.
