Product Information
The Cavalleria Toscana long tailcoat for women is a tailcoat for the dressage rider, made up in navy. The four-way stretch technical jersey moves with you, the removable weights at the bottom of the vent keep the tails hanging quietly, and the Alcantara collar with contrasting piping gives a refined finish in the ring.
About this tailcoat
A tailcoat is worn in dressage, at the level where a long coat is required. What counts there is how the coat moves: the tails have to hang quietly while you sit and work, because anything that flaps draws attention away from your test. This model solves that with removable weights at the bottom of the vent. You take them out when you wash the coat and put them back before the show.
The fabric is a four-way stretch technical jersey that gives in all directions. In a dressage test, where your back and shoulders are constantly making fine adjustments, that means a coat that does not work against you. The fabric is breathable and quick-drying, with an antibacterial finish, a water-repellent treatment and UV-protective properties. On a long show day in the sun, the coat therefore stays wearable.
The fit is a tailored ladies' model with an ergonomic cut. The Alcantara collar sits softly against the neck, the contrasting piping and the elegant points underline the lines, and the metal logo buttons and the embroidered shoulder logo complete the picture. For small items there is a functional front pocket.
