Joline Kids Riding Breeches Navy

Choose the size based on your child's height. For each size, Joline combines a height in centimetres with an age, from 98-104 (age 3-4) to 180 (age 18). As a reference, Joline gives a child aged 11 and 145 cm tall wearing size 146-152. If your child falls between two sizes, measure again and get in touch with the shop: we will work out together which size fits.

Because the lining already provides some warmth, a thinner layer on top is often enough in winter. Care as Joline instructs: wash inside out at 30°C with similar colours, do not tumble dry and leave to air dry, so the breeches keep their shape and colour.

Choose the Navy if your child rides from autumn to spring and you are looking for dark, lined breeches for lessons and stable work. If your child rides mainly in summer or in a heated indoor arena, an unlined Joline colour such as Chocolate Brown or Petrol Blue is a better choice. For competitions, white or beige breeches are the usual choice, such as the Joline in white or beige.

If your child is still very young and wants to get dressed on their own, riding leggings without a zip or button from our range may be easier.

This Navy pair is lined, with a soft inner layer for cold lessons; because the lining already adds some warmth, a thinner layer on top is often enough. The seat has full grip in silicone with the Joline pattern. The belt loops let you wear a belt, and the elasticated ankle cuffs keep the legs inside the riding boot.

What does full grip mean on these breeches?
The silicone covers the seat, in Joline's J pattern, rather than only the inside of the knee as with knee grip. It gives security in the saddle.

Can my child wear these breeches in summer too?
They can, but with the lining they are mainly intended for cooler days. For warm weather, an unlined Joline colour makes more sense.
