If you ride in an airbag vest, try the jacket on with your vest, not without it. That way you know straight away whether size XL leaves you enough room across the chest and shoulders and whether the front still closes easily. Then check that your vest can still work freely and that nothing is trapped between jacket and vest.

For washing, 30 degrees in the machine applies; always check the care label inside the jacket as well. Wash it inside out so the crystal work does not rub against the drum, and let the jacket air dry rather than tumble drying it.

Choose this version if you wear size XL (EU42 - IT46), want to ride in black and are looking for a jacket that can be combined with an airbag vest. It suits dressage and jumping, and the dark palette remains the most neutral choice at international shows too.

If you need a smaller size, we carry the same Victorine Premium in a range from XXXS to L, with a Tall length and more colours on top of that. If you want something other than black, we also stock this model in a dark green shade.

Close the jacket with the zip hidden behind the buttons, so no buttons come undone while you ride. If you wear a Helite airbag vest, check that nothing is trapped between jacket and vest and that the vest can work freely. The jacket itself does not protect you; the vest does.

How does this show jacket fit?

Can I wear this jacket over a body protector or airbag vest?
Yes, Samshield states that this jacket fits over a Helite airbag vest. The protection comes from the vest itself and only works when you wear and maintain it correctly. Nothing is specified about other types of vest.

Does this jacket come in other sizes or colours?
The technical specifications list what we stock as standard. If you need a different size or colour, we can order it in on request.

What is the difference between Black Metal Eclipse and Black Night Shade?
They are two separate shades of black within the same model. The cut, the fabric and the finish are identical.

What does four-way stretch mean?
That the fabric stretches in both directions, lengthwise and crosswise. It therefore follows your shoulders and back as your position changes, instead of working against you.

Is this the same model as the Samshield Victory?
No. The Victorine and the Victory are two separate Samshield models, each with its own fit, finish and size range.

At what temperature can this jacket be washed?
At 30 degrees in the machine. Check the care label inside the jacket and wash it inside out.
