Wash the saddle pad when needed on a delicate programme at a maximum of 30°C. Bleaching, ironing, dry cleaning and tumble drying are not permitted. So simply let the pad dry in the air, flat or over a saddle rack, and not in full sun or on a radiator.

Knock or brush the pad out after riding once it is dry: the less hair and sand stays in the fibres, the less often it has to go into the washing machine. If you want a coordinated set in the arena, it is best to choose accessories in the same colour line, which is easy to do with Blue Navy and Black.

Choose the Aries if you mainly ride dressage and want a pad that falls into place under a dressage saddle. It is intended for daily training and lessons, and the two understated colours make it equally usable for a well-turned-out competition combination.

If you mainly jump or work over courses, the Aries is not the right model: within the same Vestrum Lab line there is the Equuleus jumping saddle pad for that, which follows the more sloping flap of a jumping saddle. And if you are looking for a colour other than navy or black, another model from our range is a better place to look.
