The right size is essential for comfort, safety and performance in equestrian sport. At Maddelin Equestrian we're happy to help you choose the right size, so your equipment fits well: riding wear, helmets, boots or equipment for your horse.
Clothing that is too tight or too loose can restrict your freedom of movement and affect your aids. Always measure carefully and use our size charts as a guide.

Between two sizes? We usually recommend the larger size, unless stated otherwise on the product. In our experience, Italian brands (such as Animo, Cavalleria Toscana and Vestrum) tend to come up small.
Rugs
How to measure your horse: using a soft tape measure, measure from the centre of the chest, over the point of the shoulder, horizontally along the body to the furthest point of the hindquarters. This is the total length.
Always check the brand's size chart. A rug size in cm (for example 125 or 145) is the back length for most brands, and how it converts to feet differs per brand. Some brands, such as Bucas, also measure differently. That's why every rug comes with the brand's own size information.
The table below converts the total length from feet to cm. This conversion is the same for every brand.

The Trolle Light Tech Class for women is a light show jacket in five colours: Black, Navy, Astro Blue, Bordeaux and Olive. The breathable, elastic fabric moves with you through the test, and the lightly tailored cut gives a smart silhouette. A versatile riding jacket for riders who want to combine comfort with a stylish line in the ring, in sizes XS, S and M.
About this show jacket
Where most show jackets stop at black and navy, this model genuinely gives you something to choose from. Alongside Black and Navy there are Astro Blue, Bordeaux and Olive. For a rider who builds her competition look around a particular saddle pad colour or a particular yard colour, that is the difference between adapting and composing your own.
The technical performance fabric is elastic and breathable. You feel that elasticity in the shoulders and across the back: you can bring your arms forward and carry your position open without the jacket creating tension. That works in a focused dressage test as well as on a course where you change position quickly.
The cut is lightly tailored. That means the jacket is taken in slightly at the waist and so follows your line, rather than dropping straight down. The silhouette keeps its shape without you being confined: no jacket you consciously tug straight before you enter the ring.
Beyond that the design stays minimalist and finely finished, without large logos or contrast panels. Every colour therefore pairs easily with a white competition shirt and classic breeches. The material composition in percentages, the lining and the pocket layout are not stated by the manufacturer.
