The De Niro Tricolore Italo riding boots are smart jumping boots for riders who want an elegant look alongside genuine riding comfort. This model belongs to De Niro Boot's Tricolore line, the brand's more accessible range, while clearly keeping the Italian finish and the refined feel De Niro is known for.
About this riding boot
The Italo suits jumping riders who like a slim fit around the leg and ankle. That close fit gives a neat silhouette and a fine contact with the horse, without the boot ever feeling heavy or bulky. The soft calfskin moulds nicely to the leg and gains character the more you wear it, provided you look after it properly.
At the back, the boot has a sturdy YKK zip and an elastic panel. That makes it easier to pull on and adds flexibility around the calf. In the saddle you mostly notice the mix of stability and freedom of movement: the boot supports your leg while leaving you supple enough to follow the horse over a fence.
The removable insole with active carbon particles helps absorb shock, which adds comfort during long yard days, training sessions and competitions. The moulded rubber sole is stitched to the boot and gives a firm, reliable feel in the stirrup. The three-level spur rest lets you position your spurs neatly and securely.
The Tricolore Italo is available with or without a lace and comes in smooth leather. Being able to choose certain elements yourself makes this boot interesting for riders who want a classic jumping boot with a personal touch.
