Between two sizes? We usually recommend the larger size, unless stated otherwise on the product. In our experience, Italian brands (such as Animo, Cavalleria Toscana and Vestrum) tend to come up small.
Rugs
How to measure your horse: using a soft tape measure, measure from the centre of the chest, over the point of the shoulder, horizontally along the body to the furthest point of the hindquarters. This is the total length.
Always check the brand's size chart. A rug size in cm (for example 125 or 145) is the back length for most brands, and how it converts to feet differs per brand. Some brands, such as Bucas, also measure differently. That's why every rug comes with the brand's own size information.
The table below converts the total length from feet to cm. This conversion is the same for every brand.

Product Information
The Tommy Hilfiger Highland Winter Rhinestone Hybrid Breeches are warm full grip women's breeches, developed for riding on cold winter days. The model combines the look of riding breeches with a comfortable pull-on construction with no front fastening. The brushed inside and technical 4-way stretch fabric make these winter breeches suitable for riders who want warmth, freedom of movement and grip in one.
About these breeches
The material is made of 77% polyamide and 23% elastane. The fabric has a compressive quality and stretches in four directions, so the breeches can move with you while you ride and still sit close to the body. The inside is brushed for extra comfort on cold days.
An important difference from classic breeches is the pull-on construction. The Highland has no traditional front fastening: you pull them on like riding leggings, with no button or zip at the front. That creates a smooth, close-fitting construction around the waist.
For contact with the saddle, the Highland is fitted with a full silicone grip. The grip covers a larger contact area than on a knee grip model, which makes it interesting for riders who deliberately prefer more grip in the saddle.
Practical details have been considered too. The breeches have a phone pocket, so you can keep your smartphone with you while riding or at the yard. There are decorative pockets at the front and decorative pocket flaps at the back. These details are there for the look and should not be mistaken for functional storage.
The black version is finished with TH logos in rhinestones on the left leg and on the rear pocket flaps, giving these technical winter breeches a refined accent.
The Highland is mainly intended for cold conditions. If you are looking for breeches for the warmer seasons, an unbrushed model without a specific winter construction is the more logical choice.
