Between two sizes? We usually recommend the larger size, unless stated otherwise on the product. In our experience, Italian brands (such as Animo, Cavalleria Toscana and Vestrum) tend to come up small.
Rugs
How to measure your horse: using a soft tape measure, measure from the centre of the chest, over the point of the shoulder, horizontally along the body to the furthest point of the hindquarters. This is the total length.
Always check the brand's size chart. A rug size in cm (for example 125 or 145) is the back length for most brands, and how it converts to feet differs per brand. Some brands, such as Bucas, also measure differently. That's why every rug comes with the brand's own size information.
The table below converts the total length from feet to cm. This conversion is the same for every brand.

Product Information
The Tommy Hilfiger Glendale Young Rider Puffer Jacket is a padded winter jacket for young riders. It holds warmth in and takes the edge off changeable weather, with a quilted puffer construction, a high collar and recycled insulation. Your child wears it in the stable, on the road and around the horse. It is the outer layer that comes off the hook as soon as the air turns cold.
About this jacket
For insulation Tommy Hilfiger uses REPREVE filling made from 100% recycled polyester, sourced from recycled plastic bottles. That filling forms the insulating layer. The outer shell is 100% nylon and the lining 100% polyester. The full specified material construction contains no components of animal origin.
The Glendale is wind-resistant and water-repellent. That covers a young rider who is outdoors in wind or light drizzle. Do keep the difference in mind: water-repellent is not the same as waterproof. For prolonged or heavy rain, a jacket with a confirmed waterproof construction is the better call.
The high collar gives extra cover around the neck on cold days. The quilted puffer construction keeps the insulating filling spread evenly through the jacket.
The fit is a Classic Fit. That sets it apart from close-fitting slim-fit riding wear and makes it a practical outer layer for everyday use.
The finish stays recognisably Tommy Hilfiger Equestrian. A TH logo patch and Global Stripe details give the jacket a sporty look without taking over from its function.
The Glendale is at its best as a warm outer jacket in cold, windy conditions. For intensive riding the manufacturer lists no specific technical properties such as 4-way stretch. If you want a layer that stretches in every direction during hard training, a technical training jacket with confirmed stretch properties is the more sensible choice.
