About this saddle pad
The Tommy Hilfiger Equestrian Emory saddle pad combines sporty elegance with technical comfort. The deep Desert Sky colour gives the pad a timeless, sporty look that suits a classic as well as a modern competition outfit. The subtle Tommy Hilfiger branding and the refined details make for a premium finish you recognise straight away, even from a distance in the ring.
The luxurious quilt structure does more than look good: it provides even pressure distribution under the saddle and supports the horse's back during work. On the inside, the breathable lining helps carry heat and moisture away efficiently, so the back stays comfortable and dry during intensive schooling and at competitions. That is the difference from a simply lined pad, which mainly absorbs sweat instead of letting it through.
The anatomical shape supports a stable position under the saddle and keeps the pad in place while you ride. The considered cut leaves the wither free, so the horse can move freely, both during dressage work and while jumping. A pad that presses on the wither or creeps backwards is exactly what limits that freedom of movement.
The Emory saddle pad is available in a jumping version and a dressage version, so you always have the shape that matches your discipline and your type of saddle.

When to choose this product
Choose the Emory saddle pad if you want a smart, recognisable look that you can also use for schooling. The quilt structure and the breathable lining make it suitable for more intensive work, while the finish suits a competition outfit. Because the model exists in both shapes, it is just as usable for dressage as for jumping.
If you are mainly after maximum ventilation for a horse that sweats quickly and heavily, a ventilated mesh pad from our range is more targeted. If you want a distinctly glossy or suede appearance, a pad from our more decorative lines suits that better. And if you like bright or unusual colours, Desert Sky may well be too understated for your taste.

Expert advice
Pull the saddle pad well up into the saddle gullet when tacking up. Only then does the wither clearance stay intact and can the anatomical cut do what it is meant to. Afterwards check on both sides that the pad hangs evenly, so the quilting sits symmetrically under the saddle.
Hang the pad up to dry after riding with the lining facing outwards: a breathable lining dries quickly, but only when air can reach it. For a matched competition set, combine the Emory saddle pad with an ear bonnet or polo wraps in the same Desert Sky shade from the same line.
