The right size is essential for comfort, safety and performance in equestrian sport. At Maddelin Equestrian we're happy to help you choose the right size, so your equipment fits well: riding wear, helmets, boots or equipment for your horse.
Clothing that is too tight or too loose can restrict your freedom of movement and affect your aids. Always measure carefully and use our size charts as a guide.

Between two sizes? We usually recommend the larger size, unless stated otherwise on the product. In our experience, Italian brands (such as Animo, Cavalleria Toscana and Vestrum) tend to come up small.
Rugs
How to measure your horse: using a soft tape measure, measure from the centre of the chest, over the point of the shoulder, horizontally along the body to the furthest point of the hindquarters. This is the total length.
Always check the brand's size chart. A rug size in cm (for example 125 or 145) is the back length for most brands, and how it converts to feet differs per brand. Some brands, such as Bucas, also measure differently. That's why every rug comes with the brand's own size information.
The table below converts the total length from feet to cm. This conversion is the same for every brand.

Mare, foal and cat in relief
The metal 3D painting Furry Friends shows a mare with her foal and a curious cat that has joined them. The scene is worked in relief in metal and painted by hand. The warm colours and detailed finish bring the friendship between the animals to life.
For a country or rustic interior
At 100 × 80 cm this is a piece for above a sideboard, in a hallway, a yard office or a horse-mad child's bedroom. The relief catches the light, so the image changes depending on where you stand.
Handwork, every piece different
Because the painting is done by hand, each piece varies slightly. Indoors only. Dusting with a dry cloth is all it needs.
