The right size is essential for comfort, safety and performance in equestrian sport. At Maddelin Equestrian we're happy to help you choose the right size, so your equipment fits well: riding wear, helmets, boots or equipment for your horse.
Clothing that is too tight or too loose can restrict your freedom of movement and affect your aids. Always measure carefully and use our size charts as a guide.
Fit varies from brand to brand, so you'll find specific information on each product page. Not sure? Send us a message or come and try in our shop in Torhout.

Between two sizes? We usually recommend the larger size, unless stated otherwise on the product. In our experience, Italian brands (such as Animo, Cavalleria Toscana and Vestrum) tend to come up small.
Rugs
How to measure your horse: using a soft tape measure, measure from the centre of the chest, over the point of the shoulder, horizontally along the body to the furthest point of the hindquarters. This is the total length.
Always check the brand's size chart. A rug size in cm (for example 125 or 145) is the back length for most brands, and how it converts to feet differs per brand. Some brands, such as Bucas, also measure differently. That's why every rug comes with the brand's own size information.
The table below converts the total length from feet to cm. This conversion is the same for every brand.
| Feet | Inches | Total length (cm) |

Product Information
The yard dog, immortalised in bronze
The Dachshund by Thermobrass is a lifelike statue of a standing dachshund: the long back, the short legs and the characteristic floppy ears. The fine texture of the coat and the calm, alert posture make it look remarkably real. At 69 cm long it is close to life size.
For garden, terrace or interior
By the front door, on the terrace, at the entrance to the yard or indoors by the fire: a charming focal point for any dog lover, and a heart-warming gift for anyone who has (or has had) a dachshund.
Bronze, patinated by hand
Cast in bronze and patinated by hand; the tone varies slightly from piece to piece. Weather- and frost-proof; a layer of clear wax once a year keeps the shine.
Dimensions: 69 × 17 × 33 cm (L × W × H). Weight: approx. 30 kg. Collection from our shop in Torhout only.
