The right size is essential for comfort, safety and performance in equestrian sport. At Maddelin Equestrian we're happy to help you choose the right size, so your equipment fits well: riding wear, helmets, boots or equipment for your horse.
Clothing that is too tight or too loose can restrict your freedom of movement and affect your aids. Always measure carefully and use our size charts as a guide.

Between two sizes? We usually recommend the larger size, unless stated otherwise on the product. In our experience, Italian brands (such as Animo, Cavalleria Toscana and Vestrum) tend to come up small.
Rugs
How to measure your horse: using a soft tape measure, measure from the centre of the chest, over the point of the shoulder, horizontally along the body to the furthest point of the hindquarters. This is the total length.
Always check the brand's size chart. A rug size in cm (for example 125 or 145) is the back length for most brands, and how it converts to feet differs per brand. Some brands, such as Bucas, also measure differently. That's why every rug comes with the brand's own size information.
The table below converts the total length from feet to cm. This conversion is the same for every brand.

Product Information
A horse quietly grazing, in bronze
This life-size bronze horse by Thermobrass stands with its head relaxed towards the ground, like a horse at grass. The mane and tail are beautifully worked and the conformation is true to life. At 230 cm long and 150 cm tall, the statue comes close to a real horse.
It is cast in bronze and patinated by hand, so the tone varies slightly from piece to piece, from deep brown to green-black accents.
A serene focal point for paddock, driveway or estate
Thanks to its calm posture, this statue suits places where you want to convey peace: at the edge of a paddock, beside the driveway of a stud or at the entrance to a yard or estate. From a distance it looks for a moment like a real horse.
Bronze for years to come
Bronze stays outside all year round without trouble. A layer of clear wax once or twice a year keeps the shine. Do provide a solid foundation: the statue weighs around 300 kg.
