The right size is essential for comfort, safety and performance in equestrian sport. At Maddelin Equestrian we're happy to help you choose the right size, so your equipment fits well: riding wear, helmets, boots or equipment for your horse.
Clothing that is too tight or too loose can restrict your freedom of movement and affect your aids. Always measure carefully and use our size charts as a guide.

Between two sizes? We usually recommend the larger size, unless stated otherwise on the product. In our experience, Italian brands (such as Animo, Cavalleria Toscana and Vestrum) tend to come up small.
Rugs
How to measure your horse: using a soft tape measure, measure from the centre of the chest, over the point of the shoulder, horizontally along the body to the furthest point of the hindquarters. This is the total length.
Always check the brand's size chart. A rug size in cm (for example 125 or 145) is the back length for most brands, and how it converts to feet differs per brand. Some brands, such as Bucas, also measure differently. That's why every rug comes with the brand's own size information.
The table below converts the total length from feet to cm. This conversion is the same for every brand.

Speed cast in bronze
This small bronze statue by Thermobrass shows a jockey on a galloping racehorse. The rider is crouched forward in the stirrups while the horse stretches out at full speed. Saddle, bridle and jockey cap are finely detailed. The result is a 28 cm piece that radiates movement and tension.
A gift with meaning
On a desk, in a cabinet or on the mantelpiece: this is a statue for anyone with racing or the gallop in their blood. As a trophy or keepsake after a competition, a clinic or a season, it is an original idea too.
Bronze, patinated by hand
The statue is cast in bronze and patinated by hand, so the tone varies slightly from piece to piece. Bronze can live indoors or outdoors and only asks for an occasional layer of clear wax.
