Between two sizes? We usually recommend the larger size, unless stated otherwise on the product. In our experience, Italian brands (such as Animo, Cavalleria Toscana and Vestrum) tend to come up small.
Rugs
How to measure your horse: using a soft tape measure, measure from the centre of the chest, over the point of the shoulder, horizontally along the body to the furthest point of the hindquarters. This is the total length.
Always check the brand's size chart. A rug size in cm (for example 125 or 145) is the back length for most brands, and how it converts to feet differs per brand. Some brands, such as Bucas, also measure differently. That's why every rug comes with the brand's own size information.
The table below converts the total length from feet to cm. This conversion is the same for every brand.

Product Information
The Vestrum Syracuse TK Young are knee grip riding breeches with zip and button, made by Vestrum as a girls' model. The grip sits on the inside of the knee. On this page you choose from five colours: Black, Anthracite, White, Navy and Dusty Blue, in 134-140 (age 9-10) and 146-152 (age 11-12). From training to competition, there is a suitable shade.
About these breeches
Five colours means a pair for every occasion. White is the usual competition colour. Black, Anthracite and Navy are dark training colours, and Dusty Blue is a softer blue for anyone who wants something other than a dark shade.
The finish is clearly different from leggings. The Syracuse fastens with a zip and a button, has two side pockets and no back pockets. At the bottom, the leg ends in an elasticated ankle finish, so the breeches do not ride up inside the riding boot.
For this model Vestrum uses its TK fabric, which the brand describes as bi-elastic and very light. The brand calls the fit regular fit.
Knee grip means grip only on the inside of the knee, with no grip on the seat. That is a choice of feel. Some brands call models like this "jumping", but the Syracuse is just as much a pair of breeches for the dressage lesson.
