The correct size is essential for both comfort and performance in equestrian sports. At Maddelin Equestrian, we are happy to help you choose the right size, so that your equipment fits perfectly - whether it's riding apparel, helmets, boots, or accessories.
A well-fitting outfit not only provides more comfort but also better performance in the saddle. Clothing that is too tight or too loose can restrict your freedom of movement and affect your aids. Therefore, we recommend always measuring accurately and using our size charts as a guide.
Our size charts are organized by product category and brand, allowing you to choose as specifically as possible. Since fits can vary by brand, you will find specific information with each product to guide you.

Product Information
Trust Sweet Iron Eggbutt Bradoon Elliptical – Soft, Stable & Dressage-Oriented
The Trust Sweet Iron Eggbutt Bradoon Elliptical is designed for riders who seek refined, soft communication within a double bridle system. This bit combines stability, comfort, and optimal pressure distribution – essential for harmony in higher-level dressage.
About this bit
The Sweet Iron material stimulates saliva production through natural oxidation, leading to better bit acceptance and a relaxed contact. This makes the bit feel more pleasant to the horse, contributing to a calm mouth and increased trust.
Why choose this bradoon? The elliptical, double-jointed mouthpiece distributes pressure evenly across the tongue and bars, without the nutcracker effect of single-jointed bits. In combination with the fixed eggbutt rings, the bit remains stable – suitable when used with a Weymouth bit.
