When to use Stomach Shield
• Horses showing signs of stomach complaints or decreased appetite
• Stress-sensitive horses (transport, competitions, stable rest)
• Pregnant or lactating mares (after consultation with the veterinarian)
• Horses fed a grain-rich diet
• After illness, deworming or medication use
Dosage & use
Starting treatment (2 weeks):
• Horse, sport horse, pregnant mare or stallion: 30 g/day
• Pony, recreational horse or foal: 15 g/day
Then maintenance dose (halve)
Administration:
• Mix with the daily concentrates
• Or administer directly orally with a syringe (for fussy eaters)
Do not combine with other supplements in the same meal.
Duration: Minimum 4 weeks
For use longer than 6 weeks: combine with Julian & Jones Vita Force
After every 6 weeks of treatment: 1 week of break is recommended
Maximum daily dose:
• Pony: 50 g
• Adult horse: 100 g
