The headpiece is cut wider and generously padded. A wide headpiece carries the bridle and bit across a larger surface instead of resting the weight on a narrow strip behind the ears. The noseband is a combined noseband, so it has a flash strap. It is anatomically cut and softly padded, so the contact around the nose stays even and the jaw keeps its movement. The browband is slightly curved: it follows the line of the forehead and leaves the base of the ears free, which you notice most on horses with a short distance between ears and eyes.

Choosing the size matters more on this model than on most bridles, precisely because the range is so wide. Pony suits pony heads, Cob finer horse heads, Full an average warmblood head and X-Full a long or heavy head. Measure your current bridle and compare the lengths of headpiece, noseband and cheekpieces.

When fitting, leave two fingers of room under the noseband and keep the flash strap looser than the noseband. If the headpiece sits correctly, the wide section lies entirely behind the ears and nothing presses against the base of the ear.

Feed new leather lightly with balm a few times before you use it intensively. After that, clean it with mild leather soap and feed the leather regularly. Treat the patent version and the white accent carefully: use a soft cloth and a colourless product, and do not rub with aggressive cleaners.
