PRODUCT INFORMATION
The Sprenger MAX-Control Olive Head Snaffle is designed for riders who want more clarity and control during training, without constantly riding with a strong bit. At first glance, this bit looks like a classic double-jointed snaffle, but the clever MAX-Control action makes all the difference. With normal, soft contact, the mouthpiece remains flexible and gentle in the horse's mouth. When the horse becomes strong or leans on the hand, the mouthpiece temporarily locks at a certain angle and briefly acts like a straight bar. As soon as the pressure decreases, the bit becomes supple again.
This makes this Sprenger snaffle particularly suitable for training, corrective work, and horses that need extra containment, for example, when falling out over the shoulder or becoming stronger in the hand. The fixed olive head rings ensure a stable position, clear rein aids, and light lateral containment. Ideal for experienced riders with a soft, consistent hand who want to combine refined communication with more control at the right moments.
