We offer this bridle in size Full, the usual size for an average warmblood head. If you have a finer head or a large pony, first measure your current bridle and compare the lengths of the noseband and cheekpieces.

Soft leather stretches a little more than stiff leather during the first weeks. So check the adjustment of the noseband and cheekpieces again after a number of rides, so the bit hangs at the right height once more. Keep two fingers of room between the noseband and the nasal bone.

Soft leather also asks for a bit more regularity in its care. Wipe it after every ride with a damp cloth, clean it periodically with a mild leather soap and then feed it with a leather balm. Do not use too much grease at once, because soft leather goes limp. Rinse the rubber reins with water and let them air-dry, not near a heat source.

This is a bridle for everyday practice: training, lessons and quiet dressage work. It suits riders who value softness and a quiet, restrained look more than decorative details, and horses that are sensitive in the skin around the nasal bone and the ears.
