Take white if this is to be your competition shirt: in showjumping the rulebook requires white cuffs with long sleeves, and a coloured sleeve is then not an option. Which colour should I take for competition?

White. In showjumping, FEI Jumping Rules article 207.2.3 requires white cuffs with long sleeves, alongside a white collar and a white tie, stock or choker. For children and pony riders the whole shirt must be white, and the Belgian dressage rulebook requires a white shirt. Black, cosmic blue, mineral and navy are choices for warming up and open classes. White in S (Men's 46), M (Men's 48) and L (Men's 50); cosmic blue and navy in S and M; black and mineral in M. Samshield publishes no size guide in centimetres.

May I ride without a jacket?

In very warm weather the ground jury may allow it. In showjumping, article 207.2.3.4 states that the shirt must then have sleeves, short or long; sleeveless is not permitted. This model has long sleeves, so that is in order. No temperature threshold appears in the rulebook. In dressage the FEI says nothing about this; the Belgian rulebook requires the tie to be worn even without a jacket.
