HB Showtime Evalira Bridle

The sizing runs from Pony through Cob to Full. Pony suits pony heads and very fine horse heads, Cob finer horses and larger ponies, Full an average warmblood head. If in doubt, measure the noseband and the cheekpieces of your current bridle and compare.

With a cut-back headpiece it is important that it really falls behind the ears and does not push against the base of the ears. After putting the bridle on, check that you can still get a finger under the headpiece just behind the ears. Only then adjust the noseband, with two fingers of room between the strap and the nasal bone.

For care of the leather, use a damp cloth and a mild leather soap, followed by a leather balm. Work carefully around the stones and without excess grease or oil; wipe the browband dry afterwards with a soft cloth. Store the bridle dry and out of direct sunlight.

The Evalira suits riders who compete in dressage or other ring disciplines and deliberately choose a bridle that stands out. The combination of a cut-back headpiece and an anatomical noseband also makes it usable for daily training, although most riders will keep it for the better occasions.

If you actually want a plain bridle without stones, for daily work or hacking for example, a classic model from our range is the more logical choice. If you are looking for a bridle whose noseband type is expressly established, because you deliberately want a combined noseband for instance, look at a model where that is explicitly stated. And if you want to choose the reins yourself on grip or width, a bridle without reins may be more interesting.
