The correct size is essential for both comfort and performance in equestrian sports. At Maddelin Equestrian, we are happy to help you choose the right size, so that your equipment fits perfectly - whether it's riding apparel, helmets, boots, or accessories.
A well-fitting outfit not only provides more comfort but also better performance in the saddle. Clothing that is too tight or too loose can restrict your freedom of movement and affect your aids. Therefore, we recommend always measuring accurately and using our size charts as a guide.
Our size charts are organized by product category and brand, allowing you to choose as specifically as possible. Since fits can vary by brand, you will find specific information with each product to guide you.

Product Information
Sprenger Satinox Snaffle Bit – Double Jointed – Loose Rings – 12 mm – Stainless Steel
The Sprenger Satinox Double Jointed Snaffle with loose rings and a slim 12 mm mouthpiece is designed for riders who want soft, refined, yet clear communication. Its thin diameter and anatomical shape make this bit particularly suitable for horses with smaller mouths, sensitive tongues, or horses that struggle with thicker bits.
About this bit
The double-jointed mouthpiece distributes pressure evenly, without pinching the bars, making the bit feel softer to many horses. The loose rings promote a playful, elastic connection and support horses that prefer light contact.
The Satinox material—stainless steel with a satin-matte finish—feels pleasant in the mouth, is comfortable, and well-accepted. A good choice for riders who expect quality and comfort without having to go to the absolute top of the line Sensogan.
Why riders choose this Satinox Snaffle

• Anatomically curved shape : provides tongue freedom and comfort
• Loose rings : promote playfulness, flexibility and light connection
