The Sprenger Satinox CM Mullen Mouth 14 mm is designed for horses that require extra comfort, stability, and a relaxed mouth position . The unjointed mouthpiece has a slight, anatomical arch that creates more room for the tongue. This minimizes pressure on the tongue center—ideal for horses with a thick or fleshy tongue , or horses that are sensitive to traditional single- or double-jointed bits.
The action is gentle but firm: pressure is only applied when you take the reins. This makes this bit suitable for horses that sometimes become strong but would benefit from a more gentle, stable mouthpiece. The Satinox finish provides a pleasant mouthfeel, excellent durability, and an elegant appearance.
