Clothing that is too tight or too loose can restrict your freedom of movement and affect your aids. Always measure carefully and use our size charts as a guide.

Between two sizes? We usually recommend the larger size, unless stated otherwise on the product. In our experience, Italian brands (such as Animo, Cavalleria Toscana and Vestrum) tend to come up small.
Rugs
How to measure your horse: using a soft tape measure, measure from the centre of the chest, over the point of the shoulder, horizontally along the body to the furthest point of the hindquarters. This is the total length.
Always check the brand's size chart. A rug size in cm (for example 125 or 145) is the back length for most brands, and how it converts to feet differs per brand. Some brands, such as Bucas, also measure differently. That's why every rug comes with the brand's own size information.
The table below converts the total length from feet to cm. This conversion is the same for every brand.

Product Information
The Samshield Victorine Premium show jacket is a women's competition jacket in technical Italian stretch fabric with a shorter front for comfort in the saddle. It is breathable, wrinkle-resistant, Zip'in airbag compatible and finished with Swarovski® crystals on the shoulder, collar and back. It is made for riders in jumping, dressage and eventing who want a refined jacket that moves with them.
About this show jacket
The Victorine Premium is the exclusive model among Samshield's show jackets. The cut is designed for the saddle: the front is shorter than the back, so the jacket does not ride up or crease when you sit. Standing, it stays neatly tailored.
The Italian fabric (73% polyamide, 27% elastane) is high stretch, breathable, quick-drying, wrinkle-resistant and pill-free, with UPF 50+. A stretch mesh lining keeps the air moving during long waits at the ring.
The jacket works with the Zip'in airbag, which zips directly into the lining, with no separate body protector vest. The jacket stays fitted and the protection stays where it belongs.
The finishing is rich but restrained: a Swarovski® Cosmic Explosion crystal crest on the shoulder, ultra-fine Swarovski® Rocks trim on the collar and back, and a Swarovski® Sparkling crystal detail on the upper back. Black magnetic buttons with a concealed zip, faux snap buttons on the sleeves and black chrome crest zip pulls on the pockets.
Available in Black and Cosmic Blue, a deep blue that sits subtly apart from classic navy. Machine washable.
Choose the Victorine Premium if you compete with a Zip'in airbag and want a jacket that stays clean-lined in the saddle. If you prefer something plainer, without crystal detailing, a simpler model will suit you better.
