Those ranges overlap at 55 and 56 cm: if you sit there, try both sizes. The right size fits evenly, does not tilt when you shake your head and gives no single sharp pressure point anywhere. Also keep in mind that memory foam still settles during the first rides, so do not choose too roomy.

The glossy shell shows dust and fingerprints faster than a matt one. Wipe it with a soft, lightly dampened cloth and mild soap and dry it with a clean cloth. Do not use solvents or abrasives, not on the matt trim and blazon either, as those become locally shiny from it. After a wet ride let the helmet dry at room temperature, away from the sun and from a heat source, and store it in a helmet bag.

After a fall or a solid knock you have the helmet inspected or replace it, even when you see nothing on the outside.
