May I wear this shirt at a competition?

That depends on your federation's rulebook. In showjumping, article 207.2.3 of the FEI Jumping Rules requires a white collar, white cuffs with long sleeves, and a white tie, stock or choker; for children and pony riders the whole shirt must be white. The Belgian dressage rulebook requires a white shirt. Rules differ by federation, by discipline, by level and by country and change regularly, so check the current rulebook of your own federation.

May I ride without a jacket?

In very warm weather the ground jury may allow it. In showjumping, article 207.2.3.4 lays down that the shirt must then have sleeves, short or long; sleeveless is not permitted. This model has long sleeves. In dressage the FEI rules say nothing on this point; the Belgian rulebook asks that the sleeves cover at least the shoulders and that the tie is worn even without a jacket.
