These breeches come in two sizes: S, which corresponds to men's 46, and XL, which corresponds to men's 52. Moonless Night is available in both sizes, Sand only in S.

Wash the breeches at a low temperature, as the manufacturer indicates. Turn them inside out and use no fabric softener on the silicone seat: softener leaves a film over the grip and makes it smoother. Let the breeches air-dry rather than tumble dry; heat is the quickest way to harden silicone. Wear a thin riding sock underneath, so the elasticated leg finish stays flat inside your boot.

These breeches are intended for riders who ride a lot in a seated position and want stability across the entire seat: daily training and competitions where a quiet seat counts most. Moonless Night is a dark colour you wear at home and in training; Sand is lighter and shows more in use.

If you ride mainly in light seat or over courses, a Knee Grip model from our range makes more sense: there the silicone sits only on the inside of the knee, which leaves your pelvis freer. Also check the competition rules of your discipline: neither colour is white, so for classes where white is compulsory you need a different model. And the size range here is limited to S and XL.

The elasticated leg finish closes tightly around the lower leg, so no fabric bunches up inside your long riding boots. Wear a thin riding sock underneath and the leg finish stays flat inside your boot.

What is the difference between Full Grip and Knee Grip?
Full Grip means the silicone runs across the entire seat, right over the seat bones. With Knee Grip, the silicone sits only on the inside of the knee. Full Grip gives more hold in the seat, Knee Grip more freedom in light seat.

Are these breeches suitable for competition?
Yes, the manufacturer mentions training and competition. Do take the colour rules of your discipline into account, as these breeches are not available in white.
