Kentucky Saddle Pad Pearls

This saddle pad suits competitions, clinics and training days when you want to turn out neatly. Choose the dressage version (DR) with a dressage saddle and the jumping version (VS) with a jumping saddle, so the cut follows the saddle flap.

Wash the pad at 30°C and do not tumble dry it: simply let it dry outside on a sunny day. Wash it as little as needed and use a laundry bag in the machine, so the pearl binding and the quilting are not damaged. For larger items a professional machine with a roomier drum works better, because the pad is compressed less.

Choose the Kentucky Pearls saddle pad when you are looking for a classic quilted pad with a refined finish, suitable for dressage or jumping. The soft cotton-blend lining and the anatomical cut also make it a good option for horses with a sensitive back or wither.

If you would rather work with a pad you can secure with billet straps as well, a model with billet strap keepers from our range makes more sense: the Pearls deliberately does without them. If you want maximum ventilation on very hot days, a saddle pad in a mesh version goes further than a quilted cotton model. And for rough daily yard work you are better off with a more simply finished pad, so the pearl binding is spared.

As there are no billet strap keepers, you secure the pad with the girth loops only; keep that in mind when you tack up.
