About this care product
With clipping equipment, oil is not a side issue. Between the moving top blade and the fixed bottom blade there is constant friction, and that friction is what makes your blades hot and eventually blunt. A thin film of oil keeps the blades running smoothly and counters premature wear.
This oil is deliberately kept thin. That way it creeps quickly in between the blades instead of sitting on top of them, and a few drops are enough. The result is a machine that keeps running more smoothly, more quietly and with more power.
