This bridle comes in Full and X-Full. Full suits the average horse head, X-Full a larger or broader head, for example on heavier warmbloods. Bear in mind that X-Full is only available in brown and that black only comes in Full.

A crank noseband closes more smoothly and more evenly than an ordinary buckle, but that is exactly why it is easily done up too tight. Adjust it as you would an ordinary noseband: two fingers of room, no less. Tightening it further is not the purpose of the construction. The flash strap sits in front of the bit and must never be tighter than the noseband itself.

For care, it is best to follow the manufacturer's instructions: feed with paraffin oil and clean with glycerine soap. Vegetable-tanned leather asks for a little more attention in the first months than leather that arrives already soft. Go over the plaiting carefully with a soft brush or cloth, so that no soap is left behind in the braid.
