For children, Pikeur uses sizes based on the child's height: 140 means roughly 140 cm, 158 roughly 158 cm. Measure your daughter and compare her height with the Pikeur size chart; the age in brackets is only a guide. Mind the colour: Black comes in 128, 140, 152, 164 and 176, Graphite Blue in the in-between sizes 146, 158 and 170. If you are unsure between two sizes, get in touch with the shop.

Pikeur does not give separate washing instructions for the Ceelina; follow the care label in the breeches.

Black goes with almost any riding shirt or fleece. Graphite Blue is an alternative if you want blue breeches that are not the classic navy.

Choose the Ceelina if your daughter wants riding breeches with a fastening, grip across the whole seat and practical details such as a phone pocket. Thanks to the wide size range, they will see her through from about 8 to 16, in lessons, training and on riding camp.

If she would rather have breeches without a button or zip, the Pikeur Lilith High Waist Leggings are a better fit. For classic mid-rise Pikeur breeches in Black or Nightblue, there is the Braddy SD Midwaist, although only two sizes are available.

The Ceelina close with two fastenings in the wide waistband. The GripTec full grip runs across the seat and the inside of the legs, with no knee seams. There is a phone pocket on the right. Thanks to the elasticated sock-style hem, the legs slide easily into riding boots or under half chaps.

How do I wash these breeches?
Follow the care label in the breeches. Pikeur has not published separate washing instructions for this model.

What does full grip mean?
That the grip runs across the seat and the inside of the legs. With knee grip, the grip sits only on the inside of the knee.

Are full grip breeches only for dressage?
No. Some brands call their full grip models dressage breeches, but that refers to the grip type. Your daughter can wear the Ceelina in any discipline.

What is GripTec?
The name of Pikeur's grip finish, which the brand describes as particularly elastic.

What is the difference between the Ceelina and the Lilith?
The Ceelina are riding breeches with two fastenings in the waistband. The Lilith are high-waisted leggings, with no button or zip.

Why does Graphite Blue come in different sizes from Black?
Those are the sizes available in this colour. Black comes in sizes 128, 140, 152, 164 and 176, Graphite Blue in 146, 158 and 170.
