Dy'on Patent Large Crank Noseband with Flash - New English

We offer this noseband in size Cob. Check beforehand that the attachment suits your bridle: a separate noseband hangs from the cheekpieces of the bridle, so the width of the loops and their positioning have to match.

On a crank noseband it is easier to fasten too tightly than you think, because the closure gives little resistance. Stick to the rule of two fingers just below the noseband, and do not pull it further simply because you still can. Fit the noseband first and only then the flash strap, which you leave looser and lay neatly under the bit.

Patent leather is cared for dry, by hand: gentle buffing brings the shine back. Clean the matt leather parts with glycerine soap and feed them with paraffin oil. Store the noseband so that the patent surface is not permanently pressed against another object, because patent leather holds marks.

This noseband is intended for dressage riders who want to upgrade an existing Dy'on bridle or who want a second noseband for competition while using a plainer model in training. The wide patent leather version gives the head a clearly visible accent.
