Bucas Oasis Outdoor Blanket 100 + Neck Set

For the Oasis 100, Bucas works with a range of roughly -3 to 11 °C. That is a guide: breed, coat, clipping, wind and humidity all play a part. Regularly feel under the rug at the withers to check your horse is not too warm.

Use the neck cover mainly in rain and cold wind. On a dry, mild day you take it off and leave just the rug. If it gets colder than the rug's range, add a Bucas Liner or Quilt first before moving to a heavier rug.

Choose the Bucas Oasis 100 + Neck Set if your horse lives out in late autumn and winter and you want to protect body and neck with one set. It suits horses with a normal coat.

If 100 g is too much, for example in early spring, the Bucas Anniversary Turnout with no fill is lighter. For even more insulation, look at the Trust Tetris Outdoordeken 300g. If you want a rug with a detachable neck cover and PrimaLoft insulation, the Kingsland KLMindy 200g PrimaLoft isolatie Outdoordeken is the alternative.

Lay the rug on the back from front to rear. Close the double T-bar with the magnetic Snap-lock first, then the cross surcingles, then the fillet string and any leg straps. Then attach the neck cover. Remove it in reverse order. Wash the set as little as possible, at a maximum of 30 °C with Bucas Rug Wash. Close hook-and-loop and surcingles first and do not tumble dry.

Measure from the centre of the chest, over the highest point of the shoulder, to the back of the hindquarters. Bucas size 145 is listed with us as 145/195/6.6, size 155 as 155/205/6.9.

Can I add an extra layer underneath?
Yes, the connection points let you fix a Bucas Liner, Quilt or Cooler underneath.

How do I wash the set?
In the machine at a maximum of 30 °C with Bucas Rug Wash, as little as possible. Close hook-and-loop and surcingles first, do not use bleach and do not tumble dry.
