Attach the neck cover to the rug first with the 4 Velcro fastenings, then close the 2 Velcro fastenings under the neck. Check that the edge behind the ears sits neatly without pulling, and after the first few hours in the field check that everything is still in place.

With 150 g fill, this is a neck cover for the colder season. Combine it with the Pro rug in the fill that suits the weather. Keep the Velcro clean: hair and straw in the Velcro reduce its grip.

Choose the Neck All Weather Pro if your horse spends a lot of time out in autumn and winter, you already use the Kentucky Turnout All Weather Pro and you want to be able to add or remove the neck cover separately.

If you would rather have a rug that comes with its neck cover, the Kentucky Turnout All Weather Quick Dry Fleece With Neck is a better fit. It has fleece on the inside of the back and neck and is intended for rainy days after exercise.

Put the rug on first and fasten it fully. Then lay the neck cover over your horse's neck, with the trimmed edge behind the ears, and attach it to the rug with the 4 Velcro fastenings. Finally close the 2 Velcro fastenings under the neck. To remove, reverse the order.

Does this neck cover fit any turnout rug?
Kentucky designed it for the Turnout All Weather Pro, which it attaches to with 4 Velcro fastenings. Kentucky does not state compatibility with other rugs.

Which neck size do I need?
Kentucky uses letter sizes from S to XL. Kentucky does not give a table in its product information linking each neck size to a rug size. Ask us for advice and let us know the size of your Pro rug.

Is the neck cover fully lined with rabbit fur?
No. Only the edge behind the ears is trimmed with artificial rabbit fur, to prevent mane rubbing.

Is the neck cover waterproof?
Yes, the outer fabric has a waterproof, breathable PU coating. Kentucky does not give a hydrostatic head figure for the neck cover itself.

How much fill does this neck cover have?
