Size. This bridle comes in Pony and Full. Pony fits ponies and small horses, Full the fully grown warmblood. If you fall between the two, measure the noseband and cheekpiece of your current bridle and compare.

Fitting. Place the noseband about two fingers below the cheekbone. Tighten with the pull-back closure until the strap lies stable and two fingers still fit easily underneath. A crank noseband is meant to spread the tension, not to close more firmly. If you use the flash strap, fasten it looser than the noseband itself. If you ride without it, check that nothing is hanging loose.

Care. Working bridles deal with more sweat, sand and rain. Wipe with a damp cloth after every ride, clean regularly with saddle soap and then apply a thin layer of grease. Pay attention to the tightening holes and the folds at the pull-back closure, as that is where most of the movement is. Do not use shine products on a matt finish. Let wet leather dry at room temperature, never near a heat source.

This bridle is meant for the rider who is in the saddle every day and wants a sturdy, functional bridle that lasts. The wide crank noseband and the removable flash strap make it versatile: you set the bridle up for what your horse needs at that moment. It is also interesting if you work with several horses, since size Pony is available too.

If you want a pronounced competition look with crystals and glossy leather, a dressage model from our range is the better choice; the Working Collection is deliberately plain. If you would rather avoid a crank system and prefer a simple buckle closure, look at a bridle with a classic noseband. And if you want a bridle that is ready to ride straight away, choose a model that comes with reins.
