A wide noseband needs more room than a narrow one. When adjusting it, check that the strap stays well below the cheekbone and that it does not press against the edge of the bone anywhere. Fasten it so that two fingers still fit easily between strap and nose.

For care: remove sweat and sand after every ride with a slightly damp cloth, and use saddle soap or leather balm every few weeks. On the patent version, leave the greasy balm off the patent parts; wiping and buffing dry is enough there. Hang the bridle on a wide hook, so the padded headpiece keeps its shape.

This bridle suits riders who want a wide, padded bridle that can go along in several disciplines, and horses that are sensitive behind the ears. Choose the black patent version if you want a glossier picture in the arena, the plain black version if you would rather keep things understated.
