HFI Longe Technic Gum Ring – Safe Lunging with Controlled Flexibility
The HFI Longe Technic Gum Ring is a smart and safe solution for riders who want to lunge or tie up their horse in a controlled manner, especially for horses that tend to break loose. This innovative rubber intermediary offers controlled elasticity, absorbing sudden pulling forces and significantly reducing pressure on both the horse and the equipment.
During use, the elastic action dampens shocks and jerking movements, which increases comfort for the horse and limits the risk of injury. When the maximum stretch limit is exceeded, the gum ring intentionally breaks on the horse's side. This ensures the lunge line safely retracts towards the attachment point and does not get caught around the horse – a thoughtful safety mechanism that helps prevent accidents.
