Adjust the noseband so you can still slide two fingers underneath it easily and leave the flash strap looser than the noseband itself. The flash strap belongs under the bit, not on top of it. Check again after the first rides: new leather stretches slightly in the first weeks.

Wipe off sweat and sand after riding with a lightly damp cloth, clean the leather regularly with saddle soap and then feed it with a leather balm or leather oil. Always let wet leather dry at room temperature, never near a heater or in full sun. While cleaning, check the holes and the seams at the same time.

This bridle suits you if you are looking for a plain, classic black bridle with an anatomic headpiece and a combined noseband. It is just as much at home in daily training as at a competition, in dressage, jumping and general recreational use.

If you would rather do without a flash strap, you are better off with a model with a single noseband from our range. If you are mainly after a striking, glossy appearance in the ring, a bridle with a patent leather noseband or a browband with crystals suits that better. And if you have a pony, this model is not the right choice: here it exists in Cob and Full.
