LeMieux Mini Pull On Legging Kids

LeMieux divides the Mini sizes by age, each covering two years. With children, though, age does not tell the whole story: measure your child's height and compare it with the LeMieux size chart. Unsure between two sizes? Get in touch with the shop. LeMieux does not say whether this model runs large or small, so we do not comment on that either.

Let your child try the leggings on at home with the riding boots or jodhpur boots they wear. You will see straight away whether the legs sit neatly and whether the waistband is comfortable around the waist when sitting.

Wash the leggings inside out at 30°C maximum, separately and with a mild detergent, no fabric softener. Do not bleach, do not iron, do not dry clean and do not tumble dry: leave them to dry naturally.

Choose the Mini Pull On Legging for a child aged 3 to 10 who has riding lessons, goes to pony camp or spends a lot of time at the yard, and who prefers to put on their riding breeches by themselves.

Which size should I choose?
This page has 98-104 (age 3-4), 110-116 (age 5-6), 122-128 (age 7-8) and 134-140 (age 9-10), not in every colour. Measure your child, compare with the LeMieux size chart and get in touch with us if you are unsure.

My child is 8 or 9: Mini or Young Rider?
The two ranges overlap between 7 and 10. The Mini goes up to 134-140 (age 9-10); in the Young Rider range, such as the Orla Pull On Legging, sizes go further. Let your child's height be the deciding factor.

What does full grip mean?
There is silicone grip across the seat and on the inside of the legs. With knee grip, the grip sits only on the inside of the knee. The grip type tells you where you feel contact with the saddle, not which discipline you ride.

What is the difference between these leggings and riding breeches?
Leggings never have a zip or buttons; you pull them on like everyday leggings. Riding breeches do have a fastening. Breggings sit in between: no fastening, but the look of riding breeches.

Can my child put the leggings on alone?
Yes, that is what pull-on leggings are made for. There is no button or zip, just an elasticated waistband.

Are Shadow, Mallow and Jungle available in every size?
No. Shadow and Jungle come in 98-104, 110-116 and 122-128. Mallow comes in 98-104 and 134-140.
