Fit the noseband about two fingers below the cheekbone and keep it loose enough to get two fingers underneath. The flash strap belongs in front of the bit, not on it, and must certainly not sit tighter than the noseband itself. If you prefer to ride without it, simply take it off and store it separately.

Clean the bridle after every use with a damp cloth and care for the leather regularly with a leather balm. That keeps it supple and extends its life. Store it dry and on a wide bridle rack.

This bridle suits dressage and jumping riders who want a combined noseband together with an anatomical fit. It is also interesting if your horse is sensitive to pressure on the head or the jaw and you are looking for a wider, softly padded contact area.

If you never ride with a flash strap and do not want to pay for one, a bridle with a single noseband from our range makes more sense. If you specifically want a drop noseband or a grackle noseband, you are better off looking at a model built for that: you will not find it here. And if your horse has a markedly short or a very long head, let us look at the size choice with you beforehand.
