Product Information
The LeMieux Frances Fleece Quarter Zip for Women is a lightweight polar fleece top from the AW26 collection, designed as a practical mid-layer for active days at the stables and with horses. In terms of weight, the Frances sits between a classic base layer and a fleece, providing extra warmth without needing to choose a heavy outer layer.
About this fleece top
The fabric consists of 92% polyester and 8% elastane. Thanks to this composition, the top is suitable for activities where freedom of movement is important. You can wear it as a single layer on milder days or use it as an extra layer under a jacket when temperatures drop.
An important detail is the strategically placed ventilation openings. These are designed to support breathability without unnecessary heat loss. This makes the Frances practical when you are active, for example during stable work, grooming your horse, or other stable-related activities.
The neck features a quarter zip, allowing you to easily adjust the opening. The sleeves have thumbholes, which help keep the sleeves in place and are especially useful when wearing the fleece as a mid-layer under a jacket. A contrasting LeMieux logo provides a sporty finish.
The Frances is an interesting choice when a thin base layer alone does not provide enough warmth, but a thicker fleece feels too heavy. Its mid-weight nature makes this top precisely an extra layer between these two types of clothing.
For maintenance, the Frances Fleece can be machine washed at a maximum of 30 °C. Use only non-biological detergent and allow the garment to air dry naturally.
