We offer this bridle in size Full, the usual size for an average warmblood head. If you are in doubt, measure your current bridle: the length of the noseband and the distance from headpiece to bit are the most telling.

First adjust the cheekpieces so the bit sits quietly in the corners of the mouth, and only then the noseband. Keep two fingers of room between the noseband and the nasal bone. The flash strap closes under the bit and should never be tighter than the noseband itself; it is meant to stabilise, not to pull the mouth shut.

A fixed routine is enough for the care. Wipe off sweat and sand after riding with a damp cloth, clean the leather periodically with a mild leather soap and then feed it with leather balm, paying extra attention to the holes and the folds at the buckles. Store the bridle in a dry, airy place.

The Knokke Classic suits riders who want a plain, classic bridle that does not look out of place in training or at a competition. Because of the minimalist design it works just as well under a dressage combination as in the jumping arena or during eventing training.

If you deliberately ride without a flash strap, a model with a single noseband from our range is simpler.
