Kingsland KLNala Match Shirt Girls SS25

The Kingsland KLNala is a white junior competition shirt for girls, stocked here in sizes 134-140 and 146-152. It comes from the summer 2025 collection and is the most decorative Kingsland junior shirt in our range: summer piqué with Swarovski stones, four-way stretch and a loop for the stock tie. Kingsland states the composition: 81% polyamide and 19% elastane.

About this competition shirt

Kingsland makes its clothing in Ikast, Denmark. The KLNala, Kingsland article number 2510222192, is a junior show shirt in what the manufacturer calls its summer piqué: an airier weave for warm competition days. A Kingsland logo detail sits on the front and the back, and the shirt is decorated with Swarovski stones. For the stock tie there is a tie loop, so the tie does not shift during the test.

The composition is 81% polyamide and 19% elastane. That is a strikingly high elastane share for a competition shirt, and it explains why Kingsland speaks of four-way stretch: the fabric gives in length and in width. For a child who suddenly has to sit deeper in the arena or turn the upper body, that is noticeable. Note the difference with Kingsland's Classic junior shirts: those are 95% polyester with 5% elastane and feel firmer and drier, while this shirt is softer and stretchier. Kingsland further describes the fabric as breathable.

For youth classes the colour is decisive. In showjumping, FEI Jumping Rules article 207.2.3.3 requires children and pony riders to wear a fully white shirt, and article 207.2.3 requires all riders to wear a white collar with a white tie, stock or choker; short sleeves are permitted, including under a jacket. In dressage, the FEI rules set no requirement for the shirt itself, but the Belgian rules ask scholars and ponies for a white shirt, and without a jacket sleeves that cover at least the shoulders. This shirt is white and has a tie loop. Rules differ by federation, discipline and level and change regularly: check the current rules of your own federation.

The limitations come with it. Stones ask for care in the washing machine and the tumble dryer; they can come loose and scratch another fabric. A shirt with a lot of elastane stretches out of shape if you leave it hanging wet or lay it on a radiator. Kingsland treats the fabric with Polygiene, but does not document which active substance that treatment contains; what effect the treatment has therefore cannot be verified. And the fabric weight, the washing instructions and the country of manufacture are not stated online by Kingsland. The model is also no longer in the current collection, so what you see here is what there is.
