With 200 g insulation and a neck cover, the KLMindy is intended for cold, wet days. Kingsland does not give a temperature range. Regularly feel under the rug at the withers to check your horse is neither too warm nor too cold, and leave the neck cover off on mild days. Breed, coat, clipping, wind and humidity all play a part.

If it gets even colder, attach a liner under the rug rather than buying a heavier rug straight away.

Choose the Kingsland KLMindy if your horse lives out in winter and you want a waterproof rug with a neck cover, a high hydrostatic head and insulation that is water-repellent too.
